Autóker Holding Zrt. started the construction of Helena House, a building of 53 apartments located in District VI at 3 Káldy Gyula street, in the direct vicinity of Deák square and Andrássy Avenue, in October 2002. The building, which has a unique atmosphere and a special façade, was designed by Bence Vadász architect, winner of the Ybl and Pro – Architectura awards, and by Noémi Király.
The building was built in the place of a house designed by Vilmos Freund, which fell in a state of life-threatening disrepair and was fated to be demolished. It was the fine building of the famous architect, built around 1870, which gave the inspiration for the detailed formation of Helena House. Thus the completed residential building is a homage to the reputable architect and architecture of old times.
